Can't Install KB2901983 Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5.2

This article is for anyone having trouble installing any .NET Framework updates or windows updates on Windows 7 64bit machine.
This also includes the windows update KB2901983 Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5.2

I have the solution for you..All you need to do is remove a few previously installed windows updates, reboot your machine and then try the framework installation again and viola! It works!

The troubled windows updates that need to be removed before installation are the following:
KB2918614
KB3000988
KB3008627
